Name: Leviathar Sutrial Vrial
Classification: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Appearance: Leviathar, despite the ideas of many, works rather constantly to keep himself in the best of shape and his physique is proof of that. His form is well-toned, allowing him the flexibility and range of motion necessary to perform in combat. His hair is a darkened shade of green, his eyes shining like that of an emerald jewel.
Although never formally trained, Vrial carries himself with what he considers to be the mark of a true king; a bold stance that easily draws intimidation from the weak minded and second guesses from the mighty. From his left ear hangs a small, gold hoop earring that has his family name carved into the inner ring.
Power List:
- Soul Eater
- Possession
- Stygian Release
Detailed Power:
1) Soul Eater: As it suggests, using the powerful artifact, the Phoenix's Tear, Vrial is able to drain the very essence of a creature into the crystal, to be used in conjunction with his other abilities. Vrial gains a fragment of the knowledge possessed by those whose souls have been claimed.
2) Possession: Those that have had their soul drained by the Tear, often have it replaced with a devious entity born of the wielder's grotesque imagination. This reanimates the corpse, keeping all physical attributes of the host, but losing its will to the Tear's command.
3)Stygian Release: Though something that Vrial doesn't like to resort to, the souls claimed by the Phoenix's Tear can be released in a violent outburst that often takes the form of blackened, magical effects.
Alignment: Vrial
Weapons:
Harbinger: A finely crafted, double-edged scythe with three serrated blades on each side. For any capable of sensing, the weapon resonates a faint magical aura, perhaps from its creation.
Phoenix's Tear: An item of legend, it has been the singular cause of nation's falling and men losing their sanity to disastrous urges. It's power is claimed to be near limitless, if the host lacks the heart to appease it's appetite.
Personality: At one point in life, Vrial was a vicious, heartless dictator whose daily routine was built on the suffering of others. Since his fall at the hands of those that betrayed him, however, this attitude has shifted to become much more calculating. His silence is often a drawn bridge to retribution, his eyes holding the pain of his heart for those that he once trusted. In his voice and in the very way he moves, attention is demanded. Above all else, Vrial is an excellent tactician with a mindset that was clearly meant for war.
Those he keeps close to him now are the only family he considers himself to have and holds their value above that of any other creature on the planet's face, though he would never admit it openly, not even in the passionate moments that he has spent with his handmaiden, or the tentative speeches shared with his Elite.
Skills:
Weapon Efficiency: Vrial's prowess with a bladed weapon could be considered masterful by any with a hint of expertise. Even with the size of his preferred weapon, he moves with an agility that is uncanny to humans - even at their peak.
Coordination: As a leader, Vrial has a natural instinct for analyzing situations and quickly deciding upon the proper choice. Outside stresses seem to do little to distract him from this.
Geography: From both his personal travels and time spent as a King of the land, Vrial has learned to ascertain certain details about an area based on the geology alone. This gives him a rather intelligent insight to the composition of things around him.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Strength(s): Vrial's greatest strength is his quick wit and tyrannical charm.
Weakness(es): Despite his sometimes spiteful nature towards others, Vrial suffers from deep-rooted trauma that stems back to the untimely fall of his father, The Locust King. Having never received that love as a child, he often finds himself lending his trust too soon to anyone that would display an affection for him. It was this same trait that led to his original downfall, though he works hard to contain it now.
History: Leviathar's reign upon Cadrial-Tiein was far from joyous. The earth itself seemed to wither and cry as darkened skies hung overhead. It was an ample display of the very spirits of the realm's people. He ruled with an insensitivity that could only be rivaled by the absence of compassion he shared for those outside of his castle.
However, pride was the downfall of the young King as he allowed agents into his service that would later mean him harm. The dose of poison that had laced his evening drink could have easily been enough to drop a small militia, but the will of Vrial and the power of the Phoenix Tear combined was enough to purge the vial substance from his body, but at the cost of a vast storage of the crystal's stored power. Without an immediate means to recuperate what the Tear had lost, Vrial's hold on the Avatars and the castle's defenses fell, leaving an all too convenient opportunity for an uprising. Although bare, Vrial managed to escape with those that still showed undying loyalty for their King.
A few years have passed since then and in the shadows, Vrial and his Elite have been secretly training, preparing themselves for a grand return. While humbled by the experience, something that caused the King to grow in wisdom, he has made it well known amongst his followers that vengeance would come slowly and be well worth the wait.
