Name: Naida Ingrid Silver
Classification: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Appearance: Naida is a beautiful, willowy woman who stands about 5'8" and weighs about 121lbs. She has a moonlight complexion that seems to make her bright blue eyes stand out even more than they might have. Though she has no need to wear make-up, she does indeed wear a bit of eye kohl to enhance her eyes even more. While she's hardly the athletic types, she has enough body tone so others don't think she's too slender. Long legged, she moves with an unconscious grace that just seems to showcase her confidence in herself and her natural elegance.
She keeps her jet black hair long, letting it fall to past the middle of her back. Most often, her hair is pulled back with a variety of silver combs that allow more of her lovely features to shine through. Though she'll occasionally leave it down, making her appear to be more innocent and fragile than she truly is. She has no piercings or tattoos and actually thinks of them as rather trashy - on herself as well as on others. Attire: Her apparel normally consists of elegant almost medieval style dresses made of silk. She normally picks colors that seem to enhance her pale coloring - deep blues and greens with silver or white stitching throughout them.
Power List: Empathic Healing
Detailed Power: Empathic Healing: healing by taking on a majority of the injuries of others
Alignment: New Council
Weapons: Long Bow -Her skills with the bow and arrow are highly remarkable. Known as the Judgement of God, her arrows can strike an opponent from great distances.
Personality: When someone first meets Naida, it is very evident that she is indeed a very kind and gentle soul. She lives to help others, and has taken a great interest in the healing arts. She would much rather be healing those around her than harming others - though she knows that due to the circumstances of their lands that his mindset is not always logical.
She's very intelligent, though she seems to have an almost naive air about her. She is far from naive though, having learned the hard way that things are not always as they seem. Despite the fact that life hasn't exactly been the kindest to her, Naida refuses to be cynical about life. She's still rather friendly, though she does have some issues about letting others get too close to her. She prefers to keep people a small distance away from her, mainly so she doesn't have to worry about getting hurt by them.
One will find that she always speaks the truth and does her best not frequently use double-meanings or oxymorons. She prefers to get her point across as fluently and effectively as she can which is why most of her confidantes consider her very honest and dependable. Naida's reliability is without a doubt one of her more admirable traits - mainly because it frustrates her to know that she let someone down or failed in some way.
Skills: She has a great knowledge of the healing arts -mainly herbology. She's a very good public speaker, and is able to calm many people with her soothing voice.
Strengths and Weaknesses: She's patient, kind and able to function under great stress. She finds it very hard to trust those around her, and perhaps because of this, she has found it quite impossible to let anyone romantically close to her. Also when her temper rises, it takes her quite some time to cool off.
History: Born to a noble family, Naida grew up wanting for nothing. Her mother was a healer and her father was a Lord in service of the King Locust Vrial. Naida's mother died when Naida was a young girl and she was raised by servants - as her father was too busy dealing with matters for the king. Unknowing to Naida, her father had plans for his young daughter. He planned to marry her off to another noble, but thankfully before that could even be planned, the Locust King fell from power.
Naida's Father was wounded during the uprise, and retreated to the country with his daughter once it was confirmed that the king was indeed dead. Naida tried nursing her father back to health, but it seemed as though he had lost the will to live. Shortly before his death, he told his daughter of the things he had done for the king, and made his horrified daughter swear that she would go to the young Prince Leviathar and pledge her service once he came and took back what was rightfully his - the kingdom.
She kept her promise once the young prince reclaimed his crown, though she actually had another agenda - she was going to free the people of Cadrial Tiein of the Vrial plague once and for all. She easily slipped into the ranks of Vrial's Elite and even did things to prove her loyalty to the new King. Despite her wish to destroy the king and his elite - Naida found herself falling in love with Shale - one of Vrial's most trusted. It wasn't something she had planned, and it actually made what she planned to do a lot harder.
Though, she found out that he had slept with the Vampiress Noir, and feeling betrayed and stupid, she pushed her feelings to the side so she could focus on her true mission. Of course, life threw another curve at the young woman, and she found that she was pregnant by the very man whom had broken her heart. Luckily, Leceure (Shale's cousin) had the same mission as Naida did, and the two struck up a fast friendship. Leceure helped Naida hold herself together and act as though she could stand to be in the same room as Shale and the other Elite.
Over time, the two continued to worm their way closer to Vrial and when he least expected it, the two women acted. They poisoned his drink. It worked, though it didn't kill him. But it was enough for the power of the country to be taken from the corrupt King. Naida has no clue what happened to Shale or the other Elite - or the king for that matter - but while it concerned her, she had much to do after the battle for the kingdom. She helped heal many whom had taken arms against the king. It drained her, but she was happy to be free of the tyrany of the Vrial's - and away from Shale.
Cadrial Tiein is completely different now, and Naida takes joy in knowing she helped bring that change around. She had Shale's children, twins - a boy, Liam, and a girl, Dina - both with eyes and hair like their father and pale smooth skin like their mother. Though she sees Shale in them each time she looks at the children, she loves them dearly and has taken great pleasure in showing them the world about them. She still thinks of Shale, and each time she does, it feels as though her heart is breaking all over again. But this is something she keeps to herself and doesn't even share it with Leceure.
